Bus Stops
NP - John Petrucci - Jaws Of Life
Looking back at my first year of university, I realise that a great amount of time was wasted either waiting for, or missing, buses. Perhaps wasted isn't the right word - I struck up many a friendship at the bus stop.
When its cold, dark and wet, and you're waiting for the bus, the last thing you really want to do is talk to a stranger. Its exactly in this situation that your mind conjurs up unpleasant situations. But I was on campus. If the others at the bus stop weren't students, they were lecturers. If they were in fact students, then chances are they were in the same situation. It's remarkable how a casual conversation can make you forget the cold, and make the minutes pass faster. And it goes a long way - even if nothing 'serious' ever comes of it, its still something.
I've just lost whatever motivation I had to write the rest of this post. =/

Seems you missed your thoughts like missing the buses :P
LOL well yeah, it happens sometimes :p you have an idea for a post, but you kinda run out of things to say, or you forget, or....:s
Yeh, this happens most of the time.
well Balqis, I think its to do with the whole university atmosphere. What they say, and its true, is that living on campus is very different from 'real life'...
